Its a totally different style of hp compared to a "torquey" 400 hp 383 (using the same block) To me the 327 would be more fun.Not mant people want a daily driver with a big cam or an engine that comes on late in the power range. It started out a 305 then a stock 350 then came the towing cam and the intake,double pumper,jet kits etc.... you get the picture. I lost some oil pressure and tore it down to find the cam bearings wiped out.So now I am here.

It runs like its too lean even at 14.3, but actually runs worse when leaned out to 14.7.
