I've gone so far as to mount a Denon DL103 and it was pretty good (just barely enough counterweight travel), most of that classic moving coil sound shone through. It doesn't look, feel nor sound cheap. Love the thoughtful refinement of the cueing mechanism. The glossy red finish is killer.
