Sunset Staff is the best hexes staff, but is not very good for sorceries. Staff of Wisdom is the best sorcery staff, but you can't cast any hex with it. There is also the Leydia Black Staff, that can be used to cast miracles.
WebYeah the fact that dark magic doesn't do physical damage in dark souls 2 really sucks. I can't not like hexes but they don't have the heavy feeling like dark magic in dark souls 1. Dark Bead is so satisfying to cast. It feels like you are barely able to control it when you cast it while when you cast Dark Hail it doesn't feel like a powerful spell. WebCalidore266 5 years ago #6. In addition to a bow, I've found the basic Sorcerer's Staff (found in Forest of Fallen Giants) and Soul Arrow spell (1500 souls from Melentia) invaluable. You only need INT 10 for both. After you buy the spell itself, it costs nothing to use, and you get 30 shots per bonfire rest.
