WebSep 29, 2009 · Yeah, I'm a flat plane carver too - NOT! Most of my carvings consist of flat planes - lots of little bitty ones. Several people have mentioned it, but not emphasized it. I think the emphasis is on the "large" in flat planes. I think Mike's quote: "telling the story with the fewest number of cuts" nailed the flat plane style.
