Charles Health System, the largest healthcare provider in Central Oregon, has decided to close its Redmond Family Birthing Center next summer, citing low capacity and volumes that led to staffing changes. “This was not an easy decision to make,” Board Chairman Dan Schuette said in a press release Monday.
