WebDec 9, 2024 · You yourself cannot change the display name, this is permanent and can only be changed by support and only when you have a valid reason (like your real name in the display name) and you cannot setup a nickname for your forums post, it will always be your display name. You might mix that up with Steam, however for SWTOR its a bit different.
